Oklahoma City, monthly values
Water-from-Air Resource Charts are now available for three cities in Oklahoma. Guymon is representative of Oklahoma's arid | steppe | cold arid climate zone. Tulsa and Oklahoma City are representative of the state's warm temperate | fully humid | hot summer climate zone. Water-from-air production from atmospheric water generators is fair to excellent during the late spring, summer, and early autumn months. Water production tends to be unreliable during the colder winter months when dew point temperature hovers around the freezing point of water. Please see the charts for details.

Atmospheric #water generator technology entering maturity phase?

6/2/2013

Office Depot now has an water-cooler-sized atmospheric water generator (AWG) product available from its online store. This is a signal that water-from-air technology, especially that based on mechanical dehumidification, may be entering the maturity phase. Typically, technologies evolve through four phases: research & development, ascent, maturity, and decline.

The AWG product offered by Office Depot is the AquaBoy™ Pro from Atmospheric Water Solutions. Their technology embodies three US Patents (dated 1997, 2000, and 2001) by J. M. Zakryk.

Water-from-Air Resource charts are now available for four cities in Arizona: Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson, and Yuma. August is the best month at all four sites for operation of atmospheric water generators. Machines using mechanical dehumidification cannot produce water at these four locations during November through May. The reason is the relatively low dew-points during these months. See the charts for details.
