Seeker's comments:
The Solver does a nice job and we appreciate the effort. The experiments show that nitrate/nitrite concentrations can be made in water, however the problem come in from measuring low concentrations in the presence of other high concentration ionic species. Even with a background measurement, it is still a case of subtracting a large number from another large number and accuracy is problematic.
