Case 1: Municipal Building, Abasan al-Kabira, Gaza

Challenges met:
  • Response to nation-wide shortage of fresh water
  • In May 2019, water supply to Bukhara (transported to the city from Samarkand, 300 km distant) was disrupted for almost 2 days
  • Provides clean drinking water to about 120 children plus staff at the orphanage
  • Pilot project intended to run for 2 months
