About Atmoswater™ Research
Principal
Roland V. Wahlgren, B.Sc., M.A.,
I am a physical geographer focused now on innovative water supply technologies. During the past several years I garnered considerable practical experience by designing and constructing water-from-air systems with associated water treatment systems. Earlier, field work in the Canadian Arctic islands and Beaufort Sea provided experience in applied geomorphology, hydrology, and oceanography. Published research about ice-scour tracks on the Beaufort Sea continental shelf and atmospheric water vapour processing systems, applied principles from all facets of physical geography, including climatology. I was Contents Editor of the Vancouver Natural History Society journal Discovery for several years during the 1990's. My business career embraced fifteen years as a Managing Director of a family-owned industrial distribution firm. During 2009-2010 I spent an interesting and productive 14 months working with BC Hydro as a Load Research Analyst doing research directed towards developing a better understanding of relationships between electrical energy demand and regional climates.
